it long depends on how well u want them painted, i took 3 hours to paint a metal figure of elrond and the same time to batch painting. Most of my models are painted, in warhammer fantasy half my warriors are painted, the painted models are a dwarf lord, standard bearer, 1 half painted slayer, 12 warriors half painted while one is fully painted, the others are undercoated which are another 12 warriors, champion and cannon crew. The warhammer 40k, 120 marines are painted, 43 imperial guardsmen painted, 6 imperial guardsmen unpainted, if u want i can send u a message with my forces of imperium army list if u wanted to see it
