I'm democratic-socialist: think like the rest of the industrialized nations and you get the idea. They haven't spontaneously combusted en masse, nor will we if we follow that path toward Progress. You're libertarian? Ha! Be prepared for a rant where I call you a selfish, little reptile who wants society to fail, public utilities and education to fail, and corruption to reign supreme.

I read Shakespeare as a beach read and Les Miserables when I'm in the mood for a popcorn book. I liked vampire books before Twilight. I still do, but ones of the era of vampires that took up their nightmarish holes in novels like Carmilla, Dracula, The Historian. You like Twilight? I judge you, but we can still be friends if you can discuss the philosophical underpinnings of society. You suggest I might like Twilight? I will give you a rant about both the death of the art of storytelling with Twilight as an example and how Twilight is single-handedly undoing more than a century of feminist activism. Seriously, it's putting us back around before the American Revolution.
