Lost, Lonely, and in the fray,
The only thing that goes my way,
Sweat and tears fall in the rain,
I try and try but only get pain,

Many love but all regret,
The only thing free is the love that we get,
For giving it will cost more than you know,
Like tearing your heart out is the pain it bestows.

Covers you like a vail
You are the silent stalker
Deadly when you want to be
But gentle when it calls
Depression slowly washes away
Leaving happines to dry
You find a new path
Less enemies you pass
But still the same excitement
Thrill excites your every sence
A player of emotions
But one you hold true above all else
A gift
Compassion; you show through your actions
Love
Is felt in every word you string together
