The year is 2180. From over 2 World Wars, the Planet Earth is now a utopia of peace & harmony. Somewhere in Japan, a 30-something year old man stands in his dojo. As he stands with his two swords, a tender touch taps him on his shoulders. "Father. I've brought you a cup of hot tea," said a little girl, resting the cup on a mat on the floor. "Thank you Ayeka," he wispered as he puts his two swords in their holdsters. "Are you doing your Kon-chin exercises Father?" questioned Ayeka. He lower himself and gently laugh at her, stroking her hair and says, "Yes Ayeka, I'm doing my...exercises." As they are both sitting on the floor enjoying tea together, Ayeka asks, "Father, The Konchin is not really a real Japanese exercise is it?" "No dear, it isn't." he answered. "Then why do you do them father?" "Well Ayeka," he said as he got up. "Let me tell you a story about a friend of ours..."
One dark & stormy night, August 31, 1979, one Juan A. Silva Jr. was thrown into this god forsakin' world. Over 25 years living on this planet, Juan aquired a taste of drawing and used his powers of art for good instead of evil. At an early age, Juan loved to draw cartoon characters and was quite good at it too. However, during his early teens, he found coping famous cartoon characters rather boring. So, with that in mind in November 15, 1990, he created two cartoon characters from scratch, one a dog and one a rabbit. From that point on, Juan created a whole new universe of characters. Boner & Twerp became legends in they're own time. And even though Boner & Twerp are the heroes, The villian is actually the star! Lord Toon Industries, the official web site of the Boner & Twerp Universe, is where Juan can be free of his world and create life to his creations. Created in Febuary 15, 2001, Juan's dream was finally realized to the world wide web as he took control as the "villian turned hero" Lord Toon. "Miami is a great place to live, but I perfer the hustle & bustle of Neo Ha-Mok anyday..." says Juan, "But this is a labor of love. We want Lord Toon Industries to be the best we can do, & hopefully it won't need a well-known name to help it do well."
Juan has created over 600 different characters to associate within the Boner & Twerp Universe with over 30 different alien species. One particular favorite of Juan is the Konchin, a species created & influenced by japanese culture. "I've always enjoyed the look & feel of samurai-style culture. It has a very distinctive look, and I feel that this is the way to go. I've also studied alot of manga-esque style artwork & design. It's completely what I wanted the Konchin to actually be. We're not trying to make fun of anything Japanese or anything, It's just that well...I find that it's very interesting. Hell, I wouldn't mind being Japanese myself. Everything about it is sooo cool!"
Not much is known about this "Drum-&-Bass-Loving-DDR-Playin'-Manga-esque-Stylin'-Floridian". Paranoid? Juan? Maybe...
Indeed, This twisted sketcher has, In some way, The world in his hands. All he has to do now is to push play on his morbid designs & unleash a crazed doodle to the "alien masses". So don't be afraid. He means you no harm. He's just a cartoonist, that's all. Feeling better? Good, Now relax...
