I'm looking at a creative writing minor with a graphic arts Major. I really want to be a career author, but that's not gonna happen immediately / might not happen at all, so my starter/fallback career is graphic design, probably with some firm. I'm not in love with the idea of being an "art gopher" as I call it but I'm good at it, it'll work to get me started and I can settle for it if nothing else.

How about you? How's the job and life etc?
