That's what we normally have to worry about when books or video games are adapted to live action movies.
If they succeed then congratulations but if they ruin it, I'm certain the fanbase will raise hell about it.
This is true, I saw The A-Team, and I liked the first AVP movie, the second one was bleh. I thought Predators was kick a**. And I LOVED the new Kong remake.
But back to the topic, yes now that you mention it it could be a remake of the original wich has it's pros and cons. The most notable con would be no monster fight. There's no way this would happen but it'd be awsome if this new Godzilla movie turned out to secretly be the sequel to Cloverfeild in wich Godzilla shows up and kicks the Cloverfeild monster's a**.
Yeah, but it's nice to see a respectable Godzilla on American soil for once. Toho's overlooking the whole thing so there's NO way they can screw it up. And seeing how well Legendary pictures did The Dark Knight, It'll definatly be handled with respect. And the special effects on Clash of the Titans promises that Godzilla will look really good. Still no word on the plot, if I had to guess it would be a remake of the origninal Gojira, but the teaser image does show modern buildings in the background so maybe not. It'd be awsome to see a remake of Godzilla vs King Kong but I doubt it's that. Perhaps some Godzilla vs King Gidorah action?
I happened across a post that you made in the Gaming Discussion and would like you to know that I am honored that you find me to be your favorite video game character.
The new year has started off okay so far. How's it treating you? Thanksgiving was a bit disappointing because only a couple of people showed up at my aunt's house unlike the usual large family gathering she has, but Christmas was wonderful because I got just about everything I wanted! ^_^
