I was also addicted to pain meds. I took them after my ectopic pregnancy and they helped me just feel very numb and spacey. It's hard as hell to get off, but once you do realize that you can do it, you realize that there is a lot more you can do, or at least in my case. She does sound seriously mentally disturbed. Part of me (the psychologist major in me XD) wants to know how it got so far, but the realist in me says it's all brought on herself.

What the heck?! Sounds like she has a serious issue with narcotics and needs some serious help. She sounds kind of clingy too, or something. o_o. It kind of makes me sad to hear about people like this, but then again, they always know when the line is crossed I think. My fiance has/had addiction issues and it's hard as hell to get off, but if you put your mind to it and play an active role and want to get better, it's doable. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that, but I am so glad you're out of that situation.

Oh that's really good that you can pick up extra shifts! That sounds like an awful thing for your dad to do, and good for you for not letting it get too far and having the courage to stand up and to know when enough is enough.

Ah I see. I hope you continue to get settled in. I'm glad that you were able to get out of what sounds like a bad situation, or at least one that could get bad! Sorry to hear your bills are more, but happiness is a great thing to have!

Oh that's fine! I ended up getting distracted doing something else and when I remembered to check back on Gaia that thread was kind of dead sweatdrop I had been signed off and everything so I'm sorry I kinda posted and ran xD We're doing okay, been a very very rough year. How have you been?
