If you examine your wording you'll see how it can easily have been interpreted that way. Precision in speech is my forté.

I don't know if I have a passion, a word I don't even use because to me it seems like it implies that if you're not spastically obsessive about something you have no genuine interest in it, which is a form of neurosis-idealizing elitist thinking. I have interests, and they are very diverse: cats, nature, cycling, photography, cooking, gardening, astronomy, literature, reading, writing, languages, card and board games, social issues, history, psychology, philosophy, mythology, economics ... to name what springs immediately to mind.

Why is it too bad? I mean, you say we all "deserve" passions, a statement which itself makes no meaningful sense to me, yet then you act as though if the passion isn't specifically music it's "too bad"? That sounds a bit ... snobbish.
