They definitely do it on purpose. They love destruction and would definitely topple buildings if they had the strength to do so, just to see what would happen. Jung LOVES shopping bags and the plastic containers that water bottles come in. Freud isn't big on bags. However, he loves getting under chairs and playing hide and seek.
Aw, that's adorable! I like to roll Freud on his stomach and give him raspberries, which he absolutely hates.
Eh, Freud wouldn't do well in a cage like that. He already pouts when I don't take him out sometimes in the evenings. I studied ferrets in college and loved them from afar as a child. However, it wasn't until I got them that I realized how expressive they can be.
When Freud wants out he doesn't scratch at the doors or anything. He speedbumps and just STARES WITHOUT BLINKING. It's unsettling and sad.
Jung would respond well to the watergun well since he can't hear.
Maybe I should pick up some tile for Freud then. Whenever he's acting more hyper than normal, or gets into something he shouldn't that requires me to clean, I can put him on the time-out tile......
Ideally I'd like to have five total. However we'd need a much bigger place then what we got, and especially one that didn't have a pet limit, i.e. our own house. I'd also want wood or tile floors so the boys wouldn't dig in anything but their dig box.
Jung would definitely be the one to look out for. He's only two or so and is already a grumpy old man. Thankfully, he doesn't play a lot. However, Freud would be a rough player, so I would have to make sure the new addition would be safe.
That's what I was thinking. At least he's lively! XD If he had it his way though, he'd never been in his cage with Freud. I wanted to get a third, however, I have no idea how the boys would react.
It sounds like they all get along. Jung, the deaf eldest of the two, CAN'T STAND, Freud. He rarely plays with him, and much prefers to be exploring on his own or being with me. Freud, is the much more rambunctious one and wants to play all the time. However, when they're sleeping, it's generally together.
Do yours ever et allergies or anything? I'm not sure if it was due to him recovering from adrenal surgery, or the winter, but Jung lost the sides of his tail fur and just now recovered them a week or so ago after a couple month scare.
I've had Freud for over a year and he still hasn't grown out of it. Thankfully, the food is on a different level then their litter area. However, it makes little difference since, for some reason, they prefer paper to litter pants. emotion_facepalm
Jung LOVES ferrovite. I put it in their food while playing with Freud so that he gets it before the younger pigs it all up.
Hmmm, water guns sound like a good plan. My eldest LOVES plungers for some reason, which irritates me. The younger likes to go closet diving and hide from me when I try to put them back in their room. The youngest also LOVES to dig in the food, which is a huge issue when we're trying to sleep and I hear food going everywhere from the other room.
