Overall, I'm a pretty friendly person. But, like everyone else, I have my bitchy moments and pet peeves.
One of them would be stupidity. Stupidity has many subdivisions:
-Horrible grammar. While I can stand improper capitalization and sentence fragments (when answer questions or making lists), run-ons and agreement errors really tick me off, especially if the person speaking/typing grew up in an English-speaking country.
-Conceitedness. Okay, so everyone is a bit selfish at times, but that doesn't give anyone the right to completely change the topic so that it revolves around him/herself, right? It's all right at times, but it's very irritating when someone does it
every single time.
-Assumptions/Stereotyping. Obviously, I hate it when people stereotype all Asians to be fobs, but I also hate it when people assume that all Asians are smart, hot, et cetera. "I think Asians are hot." What the ******** is that? Have you met every single Asian in the world? There are varieties in every single race, so saying that all Asians are hot is just as bad as saying all Asians are ugly. This pet peeve goes with ANY type of stereotyping, really... not just race stereotypes. For example, saying that you love ALL anime and manga... Just. No.
Boy, I sound very negative, don't I?
Hypocritical, too. But trust me, I'm not full of complaints and ranting. I just like to warn people, so if I insult you or just ignore you, you probably fit into one of the categories I consider as "stupidity."
