Now, i know gaia puts an emphasis on having nice, pretty avatars. Obviously, I don't- the reasons for my bare-bones appearance (well, not completely bare boned, you don't expect me to go fishing in my underwear, do you? too much potential for pain there....) is partly a philosophical standpoint, mirroring the great socrates, who preached temperance as the virtue to strive to. i don't need fancy clothes, so i'm not going to try to get them.

... the other reason is i'm poor as hell. :p
