I think it still was pretty out there and funny like the comics. Oh, and the little drawn parts in the movie, like some of Ramona's flashbacks and stuff are actually done by the comic artist. And that kind of art style just bleeds action hilarity, so they did a great job capturing that essence in the movie.

It is such a FUN movie, isn't it? The actors were so great too, I loved how deadpan Kim was. "If your life had a face, I'd punch it", and all. Now I wanna watch the movie again. It has great rewatchability too, cuz I've seen it many times now and I still enjoy it. I'm glad you liked it! Maybe check out the comic series (it should be in with the manga at a local bookstore).

Oh yeah, SP is really awesome!! If you love video games, you'll probably love the video game nods that they have through the entire movie. All of the fight scenes are played out like games (begins with VS and ends with KO!) and it's really neat. The story is funny too, a lot of the humor is from the way the actors delivers lines. I highly recommend it!! Plus if you're familiar with the original comic it was based on, you'll enjoy it even more.

I'm gonna have to break out my HTTYD DVD again really soon..... but I gotta finish watching Titanic.... and Across the Universe.... and a Polysics concert...... o wo

Scott Pilgrim juuuuuust came out yesterday!! I can't wait to buy it~ and I think the reason why HTTYD took so long is because it was still in theaters. Since it was SUCH a good movie all around, I believe they wanted to milk the boxoffice as much as they could and kept it in select theaters longer. I saw it twice in regular theaters and then three times at a $2 theater a few months after that.

Now I wanna watch the movie again...... but.... it's late here, ahaha. Eventually I'll watch all the movies I wanna.....

Has anymore info been released other than a sequel and TV series is coming? I wonder WHEN all of this is going to happen! I can't wait to see how it'll turn out.

My room isn't small, but with that 5 foot tall Layton display.... it seems smaller lol. My room is a mess since we're gonna paint soon and I gotta clean things up. But I love my displays, they're really awesome. I wonder if we'll get a Scott Pilgrim display for the movie release tomorrow, not that I need anymore displays biggrin

I like Astrid a good bit, so I don't mind = 3= she's kind of hot? but my true love is the terrible terror. that little guy is ADORABLE

I can't wait, actually! Sequels do sometimes mess up movies, but I have faith that they'll try to make it not suck. I haven't heard much about the TV series, but I know I'll watch it, haha.

Oh, and since I work at Best Buy, I've claimed a small HTTYD poster; it's the cover off the DVD. Gotta love working at that place, but now I'm running out of room with the displays I have in my room.... like the Professor Layton, Alice in Wonderland and Avatar ones. The little square poster for HTTYD can go right under my Sherlock Holmes one...... hehe (ttly not a hoarder)

The only humans on the McD's toys were indeed Hiccup and Astrid, sorry. But then there is a second Toothless with out Hiccup.

The silly bands were like, 5 bucks for either 20 or 24. I don't remember how many total, but it's one of those numbers. Each character comes in four colors, and they're kind of fall colors (a mustard yellow, brownred, dark blue and burnt orange). They have Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless, the Zippleback, Deadly Nadder... I think that's it. The dragons are really big though, so they don't look good on my small wrist. Hiccup and Astrid are a tiny bit loose but way better. The more angles a silly band has, the bigger they are. These are in Walmart, right around the jewelry section. You should see a shitload of silly bands and the HTTYD ones should be in there somewhere smile

I don't have any toys of the humans, but I have all of the McD's toys minus the Gronkle..... I have a few of the Zipplebacks, which they make me laugh because not only are they blue (wtf?) but their tails.... well they look like penises. My friends and I died over them, ahahaha. Nicknamed it the d**k Dragon.... (we are mature, I swear!!)

I enjoyed the short, the 2D animation was cute. I looooved seeing Gobber's past, ahaha. So funny. I liked how we found out about his rock tooth too!

Oh yeah, and I have HTTYD silly bands. I wear the Hiccup and Astrid ones = 3=

I searched eBay and it seems that they do, but they're like over $50..... gonk it's not on the Walmart site anymore too, so you couldn't get it there.

I haaaavee. Um. Let's see. A cup, a candy necklace, candy rings, a marshmellow pop, a tshirt (it's a medium in boys size but it still fits me, the 21 year old, ahaha), a TT figure, a TT mini plush (it's supposed to roar when you smack it against something, but I never pulled the pin so its quiet), a small poster I got from the movie theater, 7 out of 8 of the McDonald's toys, a throw blanket annnnd the movie.

I.... kind of went crazy with buying things, haha. No wonder I'm broke..... It sucks though because a lot of the merch is more for kids, like the tshirts and those cuuuute PJs and stuff. But my tshirt is pretty awesome... this is it, I thought it was funny and cool.

HTTYD is the best!! I'm under my blanket with Toothless, a Gronkle and a Terrible Terror on it right now smile I've jumped at a lot of the Walmart merch so that's why I have a TT figure and small plush and a bunch of candy. Suuuuuch a great movie!!

During that time, my brother forcefully made me hand over the DSi.
But I got to play for a little and with Shiki, heh, I begged my brother to play. xD

Joshua did give me a hard time.
When I'd get fustrated, I would throw the DSi against the wall.
Then, my mom would yell haha. "That cost money!" She would say.
Shiki irratated me, I really don't know the reason why though.
