Not neccesarily, she didn't make the style so she cant say what is part of the style and what isn't regardless of whether doing something is common in that style.
Anyways I'm glad that you understand now, I hate when people misunderstand something and I'm not able explain to them ^^;;
Since she ignored me and I can't post in her thread I'll just tell you now that I didn't say her chibi isn't a chibi because it needs to be smaller and cuter.
I said that chibi style isn't ''not having a nose'': it's smaller and cute

no no, you got it right. I was trying to say that I still have one year left until I graduate. But I couldn't figure out how to word that >o<
僕のせんもんはスペンゴ(oh gosh, I don't even know if I spelled "spanish" correctly o.o) 日本語もminorがしたかったでも、時がない。卒業がlateになるつもり、たぶん。(<-- I don't know if I said that right; what I mean to say is that I also wanted to minor in Japanese, but if I were to do that, I'd graduate late) x.x

That was one of the most difficult parts of Japanese for me DX
Even now, I still have lots of trouble with it, but since I haven't used any Japanese for a while now, I'm even more rusty on it.
