I think Miss Murder is a good song. I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
Question: What if somebody has listened to every song AFI has ever done, ever, and ends up liking Miss Murder the best? What if somebody owns every in-print AFI EP and LP from "Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes" forward, and still truly loves "Girl's Not Grey"?
Does that make them less of a fan?
Please, let's not be elitist. We're all fans here, and as much as it's irritating to us when people have only heard the current singles, those people might be content simply being casual fans. Why force our degree of obsession on everybody? Or, they might just prefer the songs that happen to be singles.
The AFI singles are chosen as such for a reason. They're catchy, and people enjoy listening to them. From what I've seen, they do represent the AFI spectrum of song styles. I'm not saying they're always the best, but they're good.
