Well, not exceptionally or else he wouldn't be a Genin. He knows how to throw weight into his strikes and when to dodge when a weapon isn't available to him. When one is, he knows where to put the pointy end and is perfectly aware as to what kind of damage the weight of a bat or pipe can do to the human body.<br/>• Detective Material: Emery has a sharp tongue that cuts straight to the heart of whatever issue presents itself. He's nearly unshakable when it comes to his convictions, and doesn't compromise them when talking to anyone. While some are opposed to his lack of empathy, it usually aids in process of elimination when people cooperate with him and speeds progress in general.<br/><b>Weaknesses:</b><br/>• Spoil-sport: Emery tends to lose his temper when dealing with people who are particularly obnoxious. He hates laziness and is even more disgusted in liars. Combine it with a general lack of any useful skills/information and you've discovered the boiling point of this human being. He's developed a superiority complex when dealing with those sorts of people, which can lead to him outright refusing to listen to whatever they have to say. <br/>• IBS: Foods that are overly spicy or greasy tend to not agree with him. Overeating, in general, gives him stomach pains.<br/><b>Fears:</b><br/>• He afraid of becoming a failure. A botched mission here or there is no problem, but a string of subpar results is enough to affect him greatly.<br/>• Emery fears being ambushed. He usually has to put himself in crazy positions in the work he wants to pursue, however, he doesn't like the thought of being attacked suddenly by multiple people while doing it. The size of his branch was prodigious, to say the least, however, his older siblings and parents all held elite positions in society. Advisors to Daimyo, leaders of effective private security forces, elites through and through. He grew up while being told he was cut from a different cloth, that his was a bloodline of success. He joined the academy when he was six years old, more for the educational experience than actually for becoming a Shinobi. While he wasn't particularly haughty or arrogant, the elitism of the Ketsueki and who they allowed their children to interact with led to him not knowing how to talk normally with other students. Emery didn't judge people for the social status or wealth of their families, but he certainly didn't let the laziness or lack of efficiency of others go unnoticed. He was prone to snapping emotionally when dealing with the dishonesty of other kids, or repeated laziness without results. While he excelled as a straight-A student, he didn't make many friends because of his overbearing distaste for failure. The only people he got along with were usually his siblings, so when he left the academy at the age of twelve, he did so to spend on-the-job time with his brother, Damien. <br/><br/>Said brother was an ANBU operative for Konoha who typically underwent investigations for black market dealings within the village, homicide and other heavy crimes. Cinis got ride-along experience and didn't really get to be involved in any action until he was fourteen. Mainly because it was okay to be put in more dangerous experiences after he could recover blood faster than any normal human. He never learned any jutsu through the experiences or developed his bloodline further than the basic level, just had the occasional brawl with someone resisting arrest or participating in a group detainment. He enjoyed the older, more serious crowd and their focus on success. Unfortunately, he couldn't really join them as an official career without going through the Shinobi Academy and working his way up. Approaching eighteen, he knew that a choice needed to be made for where he would end up in life. He had quick thinking and a sharp tongue that he'd developed over the years, but he didn't want to spend his life wrapped in politics between the Daimyo, so he decided that working with the ANBU was the life for him. With the encouragement of his family, he graduated the academy and set towards his goal. <br/></span>Friends
