Well, I haven't found anything saying that it's not Nordic, but it's based on Yorick from Hamlet (Dutch king), the spelling is from Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials, King Iorek.
Well, I'm getting a BA/BS, so it's not really a jump. I want to have a bachelor's of science in botany, and a bachelors in alternative economic theory. I ******** up saying I'm just learning about Participatory Economy, that was only two weeks of study. Right now I'm doing a study on worker cooperatives in South Africa. biggrin
I can't not go to school, even though it is costing future me an arm and a leg (my tuition is paid by grants, but I have to take out loans for living expenses). Still beats NOT going to school, for me, though. For my career path, I have to have nice, neat pieces of paper saying, "I know my s**t." I am greatly enjoying school, though. smile
We's the bees knees.
Oh yes. We're still "dating," so I'm still seeing other people, too. I'm not sleeping with any of them, just having romantic adventures. 4laugh
lol His name is Iorek, not Lorek. It's said, Yor-eck. <3
I was in a program called Global Meltdowns, and now I'm enrolled in Alternatives to Capitalism.
Mostly studying participatory economic theory, but will be moving back into Botany in the summertime. <3
dayummm. Look at you gettin' all settled and s**t.
Good for you. <3
I've recently begun seeing a fantastic man, and am working to keep the fire strong. smile
I have been doing fantastic! I have my own studio now, with my son, Iorek, and I attend The Evergreen State College, and work in the permaculture garden on campus, and am on the Sustainability Council, and.... I met a guy.... recently, so we'll see how that goes.
I'm in love with my life. <3
