Have you ever tried tom yum soup before? Its a Thai/Viet flavor base that's a really yummy hot, spicy and sour flavor (the sour part is like lemon grass and tamarin!). I made a vermicelli soup with this base that turned out pretty tasty with oysters, spinach and garlic.

Today my mom and I went out for lunch at the local casual seasonal seafood place, and we got fried oyster baskets. The place updated their hot sauces, which was great. It was really tasty!

It was a great deal; $19.99 for all you can eat. That also included all you can drink (non-alcoholic), and they had a bunch of drinks including bubble tea drinks (minus the boba). I ate so much lamb in my hot pot. Oh my gosh Jon, it was worth it. That day was super cold and wet, and sleeting rain--hot pot really hit the spot. You should go get some! mrgreen

Hi honey! So yesterday, I had hot pot. It was delicious. It was all you can eat, and that includes their bubble tea beverages (which, no boba, but plenty of tea flavors!). I definitely indulged.
