Hello whoever reads this. I'm a 20 year old college student that can't figure out what she wants to do with her life. I'm studying psychology and religion, which I find fascinating, but I don't want to do any of the things those degrees lead me into.I have two pet ferrets who I adore. They brighten every day with their insanity. smile
I play a lot of video games. I love learning about all video games from a development/appreciation standpoint, but I find games that require reflexes to play frustrating. Thus, I play JRPG's almost exclusively. My favorites are the SMT series (I've only played the PS2 ones...) and Xenogears. I like having some difficulty and awesome plot with my games.
I've been told I'm a "militant agnostic". I haven't been able to keep up with all the new atheist/agnostic denominations, but I think it's accurate. Basically, I don't understand how anyone could possible think that they have "the answer". No one could possibly have it. The evidence doesn't exist to prove or disprove any god. If you disagree, that's fine. We just won't talk about religion.
I also don't believe in any sort of "true good" or "true evil". Do I still get those feelings? Of course, but I know in my heart of hearts that just because something makes me upset doesn't mean it's bad. That stuff's a product of culture and evolution. It's a bizarre belief that's difficult to maintain at times, but it's what I really think when I sit down and can be really logical about the matter.
