The prince as in the item? I also sold a lot of stuff like crazy because I just had to have him ;_; I'm trying to collect all the princes but there are 2 items that are so expensive! x.x Some of them can be found for ~10b each now though so that's great haha!

Well, subforums that each team can legitimately not be camped on. I dunno. There is such an imbalance in numbers that as soon as any of the elders post we are dead.

(late reply lol smh -_-) post formats in RPs are getting so fancy it's like even if no one's gonna become a writer at least i see a wonderful future for these players in graphic design because MAN they go out of their way. makin fancy FONTS just for their post styles and stuff. though i hate when they make all of the post content in... actual images? rather than written out in the post itself? because they choose some tiny fonts and i have TERRIBLE EYESIGHT

OMG very true. i'll tell u - just looking at the gaian neighborhood - the REAL thing that'll kill RPs nowadays is probably the adv lit aspect + 'background checks'. they demand such long posts! and such ornate post borders... gonk the people in the gaian neighborhood are NOT messing around. unfortunately i think the length requirement probably kills them very quickly, as it's much faster to write out a paragraph or two than it is to write out like 4+ consisting of like 800 words each. but hey, if you can write that much, more power to you.
i've thought about getting back into RP with new folks, but i've been out of the game so to speak i have no idea what's standard protocol anymore. do we need background checks? how many face claims are required? are gifs still popular? etc etc etc. and tbh i used to be a big KH player too - but i was TERRIBLE at it. just terrible. OOC all the time. to be 13 again... lol
imo no one is a Real writer til they have terrible embarrassing writing to look back on and cringe heavily. it's like an Official Writer Hallmark if you ask me! ninja and i feel like of all places, why are ppl expecting best seller novel-level characters and plot on an anime forum? like don't forget this is a forum where everyone has huge-headed guppy-eyed avatars next to every post...
i'm familiar with dreamwidth! i dont really RP these days outside of a private thread here or there. most my character creation these days is just bouncing back and forth headcanons. but i used to be very prolific on gaia! especially in naruto RPs... ugh... xp
heart i used to RP a little on gaia and i find it ridiculous that people are acting like the quick death of RPs is a new phenomenon (exclusive to gaia, even.) plus i loathe the mary sue complaints because it's like... 1. batman is pretty much one by Official Mary Sue Standards and 2. i feel like getting annoyed at the skill level of people - many of them very young amateur writers - who are writing for fun seems sorta ridiculous. rolleyes like we didn't all have less than realistic OCs when we were younger and writing for fun.
I've seen a few of the different ones yeah, I remember the porcelain one clearly because I found the idea really cool haha
I also like the steampunk styled one, because it looks like highend fashion as well as just a prosthetic
