A bird? A plane? A falling star? Whatever it was, it seemed to be causing large amounts of stirring amongst the modern day public. For the past few hours a large, luminous object had been seen burning up,] far above the atmosphere, leaving a bright tail trailing right behind it. From that far of a distance it was near impossible to identify just what the foreign object was. A few local astronomers had simply assumed it be some for or another of trash from an orbiting satellite. Nothing more, nothing less. That said, wherever the sky was, that odd little pyre of light still captivated all whom gazed upon it. However this ever-curious nature soon proved unstinting. By the time the sun had dipped low in the sky to turn the sky a dull rose, the 'falling star' of sorts had gotten that much closer to its target. A half-conscious Sidus skyrocketed into the middle of town, careening to land square in front of the local bank. Of course her impact was anything but soft. She left a large fissure in her wake from hitting the road head-on and sliding along just far enough to stop. Which in this case was nearly three blocks. But she was glad. That much sudden force was enough to jar her back into consciousness. The pair of swirling blue eyes shut open to take in her new surroundings. A single hand reached up from the crater to pull herself up from her welcoming present to this new civilization. However her appearance was quite off from the norm here. She was short, shorter than most adults. She possessed only eyes on her flat face; no nose, no mouth, and no ears. Her skin reflected the night sky, mass clusters of stars and constellations spotting her abnormal features. Even with nothing more than her burned up sash to cover her it was difficult to determine gender; her flat chest only adding to the uncertainty. The shriveled, charred pair of insect-like wings twitched and folded awkwardly as she took her first steps towards a terrified salesman. He of course fled along with everyone else in the immediate area. Sidus was alone. She had been alone for a while. Her gaseous hair fumed and billowed around in reflection to her disdain. What now? Everyone was gone. Sidus figured she might as well start storing up her energy reserves. Walking over to the nearest building, she stood roughly an arm's length away before starting to unload punch after punch into it. The more energy the put into inflicting damage into the structure, the more she got back for her own use. An odd sight to say the least.
