About
Music is one of the most complex, elegant tapestry ever woven. It can soothe the soul with a single note, it can ravish the heart with a word. It can even penetrate deep within, deep enough to make even the most brave, the most fool hearty to his knees. I know, for I have witnessed each and every one of these happen. You may look at these songs and have a completely different outlook on them, but that is the beauty of music, to one man it can be seen as garbage. To another, it can be witnessed as a key to her existence. I share with you some of my favorite songs, and I hope that they are as touching as they are for me.Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant,
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honour.
Omerta - Lamb of God
So how long did I expect love to outweigh ignorance...
I'm not insane...
"Almost Easy" - " "
"I wish I could be the one,
the one who won't care at all."
Constrict your hands around me,
squeeze till I cannot breathe,
this air tastes dead inside me,
contribute to our plague.
Break all your promises,
tear down this steadfast wall,
restraints are useless here,
tasting salvation's near.
"Unholy Confessions" - " "
"He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man."
Samuel Johnson
Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."
I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I Write Sins Not Tragedies - Panic At The Disco
Love is not when you feel only pain
Her touch
Poison
Flows through my veins
No more
I denounce all your childish games
Whispers (I hear You) - All That Remains
I've got a gun in my hand but that gun won't c**k
My finger's on the trigger but that trigger seems locked
I can't stop staring at the tick-tock clock
And even if I could I would never give up
With a vest on my chest, a bullet in my lung
I can't believe I'm dying with my song unsung
And if and when I die won't you bury me alone?
Because I'll never get to heaven if I'm singing this song
