There was a couple kissing behind a tree after school.
they were supposed to be heading home.
it started to rain.
they didn't care and kept on kissing
lightning started to strike,
and they could both hear thunder
water was dropping down on them
but they didn't care,
as soon as his lips touched her lips again,
lightning struck the tree and they both
fell unconsious.
the janitor found them behind the tree
they were transfered to a hospital nearby
the boy woke up,
but the girl was still unconsious
the boy was very guilty
the girls kidney started to fail because of the lightning volt
the doctors tried everything to save her.
the boy decided to donate his kidney
the blood matched
his parents said not to,
because he would die
but the boy was determined
it was his fault and they all knew it
before they went into surgery,
the girl woke up
she asked what was going on
nobody told her
the doctors said that they were going to just check if something was wrong.
she believed them
they didnt tell her that her kidney was failing
the boy closed his eyes and prayed.
the girl and boy held hands
"we're going to be okay" he told her
"i know" she replied
"i love you very much. you know that" he said
"i love you as much as you do" she said
"ill always be with you" he said
"and me too" she said
they were put to sleep
a tear slid down the boys cheeks as the doctors started the surgery
a tear slid down the girls cheek too
when the doctors took the kidney out of the boy,
two more tears fell on his cheeks as he died...
as the doctors finished the surgery,
they heard the girl whisper,
"i'll always be with you"
and her heart stopped beating
