MissMeowMeowKitty Report | 02/06/2009 7:35 pm: I've been good...sorta adjusting to this change of direction. Remember how I told you about the whole typical nursing thing? Well, it turns out that it just isn't for me. it is really stressful because it is so demanding. I mean, I really want to help people recover and get well...but its just too much for me to carry. So, to make a long story short, last month I changed my major from nursing to Social Work. To be honest, I really didn't know much of what a social worker does except for the ones that work in the hospital (preparing patients for discharge) or the ones who work for the government and who are apparently the ones that people are afraid of. I actually know a person who does social work, so she gave me some detailed information about Social work. I still have a lot to learn, but I am really starting to like social work. The pay is slightly less than what a nurse makes...but I trust that God would be the one who would support me (especially financially :] )

Enough about me, how about you? I'm sorry I forget, but where in the Philippines do you live, again? Is it Manila? Also...I don't know if we ever talked about this, but how well are you at speaking Tagalog (or some other dialect from the Phil.)? And...are both your parents Filipino? (If you think my questions are little too personal, I don't mind a PM. hehehehe)
