Ah, it's only recolor mocks. I do mocks for friends and sometimes for hire, and I'm practicing how to correctly do things like borealis or lyra. I still think I need practice, but it's getting easier the more I do it.
I don't mind advice at all! It's motivating, and I always need motivation for pretty much any out of the ordinary task. Using a mouse is actively painful for for fine details and gently curving lines. Maybe I'll attempt small sketches, though I need to find tutorials for the basics first, I think. There are so many styles out there I like, and it's easier to try and learn one style, before developing your own.
I understand your situation, being in it myself. There's really nothing we can do but wait and see. The staff have been highly active in the CSU threads, but none of them have spoken about it, nor was it addressed at ATS, which is suspicious. Maybe they'll do us justice, and maybe major bankrollers will leave. They might drag their feet on the changes, to give us more time to get used to the unpleasant idea, too.
One of these days I'll take up art. I even have a tablet now, but often can't find the motivation to practice. It's something of a miracle when I actually sit down and work on mocks.
