One night, two girls from school arranged one of their ocasional sleepovers at one of their houses, Jenny's. The two girls, Jenny and Maddy were best friends. In Jenny's house, however, there was said to be the ghosts of a family that had died a long time ago when the house had burnt down. They built a new one, and in moved Jenny, who had lived there for eight years by this time. They spent the whole day together having fun at their sleepover until that night. They were tired and were getting into their beds so they could watch TV until they fell asleep at about 9:00 that night, though they intended on staying up all night. They were sleeping downstairs on the ground, like they did every time, at Jenny's house. It was about 1:30 when the fire alarm started chirpind, and indication it was low on batteries. The dad, who had been getting drunk in his room up stairs came downstairs, and said he was going out to get more ciggarettes and beer. Jenny told him about the fire alarm, and he said he would get them on the way. The father left, leaving jenny, Maddy, and Jenny's 19 year old brother, John, who was sleeping in his room upstairs. The two 13 year old girls waited for him, watching TV, having much fun. During that time, the fire alarm had completely ran out of batteries, making it stop chirping. Maddy started to fall asleep, though Jenny kept her awake. It was about 2:30 and Jenny was getting scared. The dad was supposed to be home a long time ago. They both went upstairs, to go on to the computer in their dad's room when they noticed the dad left his wallet and keys there. They went into the garage to see if the dad was there, the door they last saw him go out, but the garage door was shut and he was no where to be seen. They went up to their brother's room, frightened, to see he wasn't there. They checked the bathroom, onlt to see the brother hanging from the shower head, bleeding as his dead corpse dangled. They ran downstairs and tried to open the doors to run out of the house, but they were stuck shut. They went over to the kitchen and attempted to crawl through the window above the stove. In the process, Maddy accidentally kicked Jenny, making her fall on to the ground, unconsiouse. She began screaming and kicking and accidentally turned on the stove with her foot, also, she fell off of the stove herself. They both remained unconsiose that night. The next morning, firetrucks surrounded the house, putting out the fire that had occured that night from the stove. The two girls were found dead from inhailing too much smoke, the brother hung, and the dad still nowhere to be seen.
