Yeah, practicing probably would be a good idea. Well, wow, I didn't know sax was that easy. I remember when my friend who's a sax player was playing my clarinet, she was surprised by how hard you had to press down on the keys.
Oh yeah, you're the drum major...and you play sax? Wow...that's weird. My drum major plays sax too. Actually for several years the drum majors of my band have gone flute, sax, flute, sax, flute, sax.....
oh, really? cool. i remember during marching season we'd all switch instruments & show each other how to play go team go... from my experience, woodwinds can NOT play brass instruments. i sound like crap on trumpet and mellophone. flute is very difficult with the fingerings, so never worked that one out... alto sax is the only one i worked out without sucking. lol
