Freedom
Years have passed.
Time goes by.
The Eagle soars,
But I still can't fly.
My wings are clipped,
And stored away.
They say I'll fly,
Some other day.
Freedom rings,
Yet I can't hear,
But the silence deafens.
I live in fear.
Anger increases.
The protective shell folds.
They think I'm play-doh,
Some mind to mold,
But I won't give in.
I don't conform.
How dare they think
I can't handle the storm.
The rain's been pouring,
Though I haven't drowned.
I fall,
But I can't touch the ground.
Yeah, about me, I'm gay, and I like anime, manga, music, books, and whatnot. I don't really know what else to say but "Hello World!"
