Yeah... I'm not really too concerned about working hard, since I'm a workaholic anyways and I'm probably better than my parents at managing my finances...

My parents are the same. They want me in a profession that is stereotypically associated with money (i.e. law, medicine or business) when I would prefer to be happy with my job and somewhat poor, than in a job I hate but be rich. Besides, there's a ton of money to be made in food service. Baby steps always work.

Haha, I'm sure everyone has a goal they want to strive for. My parents don't have any confidence in me, so they're trying to force me to stay at home with them.
