About Me
You want to know about me? I'm not much good at these, but...I'm sixteen, nearly seventeen. (*I am sixteen, going on seventeen...*) Sorry. Anyway, I'm your average teenager, maybe a little more content than most. I'm a geek and damn proud of it. I'm into anime and manga, but primarily manga. Silly as it sounds, I try to collect more "serious" or "adult" manga; I have my own criterion for that that I can explain at length. My current favorite series are Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hoshin Engi, Rurouni Kenshin, and Togari.
I'm a practicing Zen Buddhist, politically a left-leaning moderate, and philosophically an easygoer. I'm not interested in conformity or in making a show of being different. I'm interested in being me, in a very real, genuine, not-superior kind of way.
I like random conversations, and I like making friends. If you're reading this, feel free to PM me. Be advised: bad grammar, punctuation, spelling, and/or capitalization kind of bugs me on an automatic, uncontrollable level; however, I won't comment on it unless you're absolutely slaughtering the English language. (As for other languages... well, I speak a little bit of German, and know a few words of Spanish and Japanese, but that's it.)
I'm a recreational poet and writer. I may or may not put some of my stuff up in my journal in the future. We'll see.
