it was more than time someone woke up and stood against Gaia Online and their dictature. Their overinflated ego only begins to cause them problems as more and more players are banned for nothing. GOS, aka ''You Suck Derek Liu'', is an anti gaia site to expose the nightmare of joining this gay and stupid community. Read our famous interviews. See our analysis of Derek Liu's overwhelming fortune. See what kind of ads Gaia Online reserves for children and learn the truth behind all these lies designed to keep you paying. Better yet: see how what has happened to this little website and how fast it has fallen and became the worst piece of s**t ever made.
1. According to GaiaOnline, accepting their ToS (Terms of Service) in effect means you give them the right to ban you anytime for any or no reason at their sole discretion, and you might not do anything about it, even if you spend hundreds of dollars in items and gold. You might think: they want to grow so they will not ban for nothing! Think again! See our list of reasons for which you can be banned. Read the stories of people being banned simply because they accessed a friend account, or had too much gold for the admins.
2. Their ban process is horrible. In their Rules & Guidelines, Gaia Online states that they give temporary bans and then, after extreme cases, give permanent bans. Nothing can be further from the truth and I've yet to see someone being "temporary banned". Your only and last e-mail will be:
You have been permanently banned for:
Botting/Profiting from botting

Good luck! They rarely, if ever, read bans e-mails and almost never unban accounts. A while ago, a person got banned for hosting a charity, an obvious proof of selling gold. No warnings, nothing, and she was gone for absolutly no reasons. It took over 500 hundreds posters and over a week to lift her unfair ban. Think you will have the same kind of luck? You better start making friends right now. The truth is that Gaia Online doesn't give a s**t about you.
3. Perhaps the worst problem about Gaia Online is how bad they suck. It's just a god-damn forum, and the point of the game is totally stupid. There are no levels, no monsters, no challenges, and quests mostly consists of making gold (which is, by the way, sold by Gaia Online). You simply have to dress an ugly avatar hoping the game will eventually improve. Their forums are horrible, full with idiotics posts that always concerns two things : rape and more rape. Finally, remember that these will always remain ******** 0's and 1's. You are, in fact, paying, posting, working for damn virtual items and, more precisely, virtual crap.
4. Gaia Online keeps announcing new features, but look how many are really introduced. House voting was announced for 2005 and has just came out. Look at the list of features announced in 2005 and how many of them are released. Oh, you might want to check what newest feature they introduced: another way to pay for their collectibles, of course!
5. Gaia Online claims that it is PG-13, but we say it's bullshit, and you can look at their severe measures to prevent younger from registering here. Frank from Chaos Programming frequently reported people being eight, ten or eleven, and their forums are there to proove it. But the biggest problem is the pressure they put on children. We all know that at these are ages, kids are the most influential, and the amount of brain-washing they throw is almost unbelievable.
6. Gaia Online takes great proud into saying they are free, but is it really? There are things to buy every single corner, not counting the ads at every single corner of the page. Worse: Gaia Online states that it accepts money by mail. Is this legal? We don't know. What happens if the letter get lost or stolen? We don't know neither. We all know little kids can hardly get credit cards without their parents consent, same fo
