Alright. Updated myself. Always good to do every so often.
So... On to me. Not an easy subject. My name is Matt, but I will respond to Ghurdrich, even in reality. I am somewhat of a recluse, and hugely introspective, and as such I tend to project my own thoughts onto other people, or into conversations. I'm a fairly average guy, as far as appearances go. I stick to darker clothes. My hair is styled however I wake up that morning, and I shave probably once a week. I get good enough grades, and I enjoy learning things. As a matter of principal, I mean every word I say, and even some that I don't. I try to put on a positive attitude, but I believe depression is inspiring, and will sometimes sink into it for creative purposes. I run a tight ship, as far as my emotions go, and it takes a lot to set me off, but people have done it. Even so, I always have a listening ear open when my friends are in trouble. I try to offer the best advice I can, but even if it's something trivial, I'm always willing to listen. I like to think of myself as a fairly stable person in that I don't sway easily to anyone's views but my own, and I'm not liable to change for just one person's benefit. Quite frankly, I like who I am right now.
I'll try anything once. I love books, especially Sci Fi or Fantasy. I enjoy movies, though I find I can't get into them as much as books, and I am an avid gamer. I love seafood, and will eat just about anything. The same applies for drinking, with anything except milk, oddly enough. If anyone is even remotely interested, my favorite colour is red. Musically, I'll listen to anything that seems to involve talent or evokes emotion. More often than not this eliminates Rap and Country from my musical tastes, but if a song is good, I'll listen to it. I play the Guitar, both acoustic and electric, and I suppose I can sing a little bit on request.
I enjoy role playing, and I generally stick to the same genres as my books: Fantasy and Sci Fi, but as I said, I'll try anything once. I have close ties to wolves. Maybe that sounds a little weird, but it's true. Wolves are pack animals, and despite popular opinion, rather peaceful creatures. They have their own hierarchy, and the strong will lead and hunt while the incapable stay behind to watch the young. Wolves are fiercely territorial, and will suffer great pain to protect their own, whether it be their pack, their game, or their land. I find I am the same. I'll sacrifice a great deal to protect what I care about, and I won't lash out unless someone threatens something that I care about.
And hey, maybe I'll divulge something personal. My biggest inspiration: A full moon shining in a clear sky. I rarely see it, but it happens. Something about a clear sky just resonates within me. Maybe it's the fact that it's so pure and spotless. I don't suppose I'll ever know.
