Inu-Tora Legend Part One
Prolouge, The Story of the War-Torn Warrior
It was a time of great war for the dogs of Kiido mountain. The Pumas from the other side had launched a secret attack on the mountain, to gain control of it. The leader of the dogs was Vash, a great Siberian Husky. At his side was Slash, a young and lanky Bloodhound. On his other side was the one to be known as the War-Torn Warrior. His life had been filled with battles, all of which he emerged victorious. The white German Shepards name was Shiro. His battle scars were all over his body, but he fought as if every fight was his first. Vash, Slash, and Shiro stood before the Puma commanders, as comrades around fought. Vash stood his ground firmly.
"You are to leave our mountain now, or every single on of your dirty throats will be slit!" he shouted among the din from the fight. The Pumas only laughed their hissy laughter and launched themselves upon the three dogs. Shiro was landed on by a huge burly fellow, Stone was his name. Shiro took his back legs and tore at the Pumas belly, and the creature lept off. Stone ran off in defeat, not running to fast to ensure whatever guts he had did not fall out. Shiro stood and licked his chops, satisfied. He looked and saw his dead leader, without a head. Slash was lying unconscience against a rock, with a bleeding head. This brought a furious rage from within Shiro. His fur turned from stark white to a burning red, and his eyes blazed as he slaughtered the puma leader and his last follower. He howled triumphantly and took off on a frenzy, killing any one of the pumas left. He was a hero in the eyes of every dog in Kiido, but he ran from the fight in his frenzy, and no one from Kiido ever saw him again. The dogs followed him, but lost their way and never found Shiro, or the way back to Kiido.
But that's only a legend.
