Just stuff involving other staff members (a few friends) getting treated shittily by other staffers on various occasions. It wasn't like an everyday thing, but it still gets me ornery. scream I won't divulge that info here on gaia cause I trust what they've told me, but stuff could be misunderstandings/maybe not as bad as they seem cause i wasn't there to witness these things. I don't need to be slandering random folks when I haven't gotten their side of things (I was a passionate kid before I was a logical one back in those days lol). And, to be honest it's stuff that happened years ago and is probably water under the bridge at this point. I don't think any of it affected the community too monumentally, but I've seen it drive some great people away. I really hope it's not like that anymore. Doesn't seem like it, but I'm not gonna go looking for it. Just gonna enjoy my time here. sweatdrop
Man don't even get me started on some of the staff, some of them used to make me so angry. Not even sure if they're still working at gaia or not, I'd rather not find out and just stay blissfully unaware.
I think they've been doing a better job of that lately compared to a couple years back. Cause before it felt like the community didn't factor into any of their decisions.
I've noticed it as well. Like people have just straight up given me stuff without me even saying a thing. And people have been tipping me like crazy! Maybe inflation isn't all bad. ninja
Haha, i wouldn't say the feelings you have are pretentious or even bad to have. Basically everything we knew about gaia was flipped on it's head. rofl Like I could swear they said they would never do something like that, but alas things change without double checking with old promises made. whee They took away that tenure from us which is pretty shocking when you think about how join date conscious the gaia community is. Our join date could be derived from the items we wore sometime, but the person who joined in 2012, should be acknowledged same as the person who joined on Feb 19, 2003. xp We just gotta retrain our brains to think differently about our beloved pixels. heart
I just can't seem to get to bothered by it. People were always trying to scheme ways to get more of the old MCs back in circulation (i remember one petition to strip banned accounts of their goodies lol ). Just seemed like a natural course.
I'm holding onto most of mine just cause of the memories associated with 'em. Though really tempted to sell my ancient katana, i never wear it, there are cooler swords, and it's been rereleased a few times. haha.
Oh did you see that have a bundle for $10US for mini nitemare and angel wings, along with winged anklettes and angelic pendant. Almost tempted just for the minis. xd almost...
