I wouldn't put those devices past science. I mean, at one point, penicillin was unheard of and "pain medication" meant giving the patient a bottle of whiskey. Then again...I've been watching "How Star Trek Changed the world" on the History channel again.....Then again...If we followed Star Trek Logic, we would just have to avoid a certain colored shirt to be safe.
So you spend your time classifying galaxies? I don't really think I'd have the patients for that.
We wouldn't get to that sort of weight because we would have near magical cure all machines...like the ones they use throughout the show. "Oh, You broke your leg...well get on this machine that looks suspiciously like a stepper and it will all be fixed!"
That must be one fulfilling summer no?
I got all the Guitarist show off fundamentals down. Lets see...I went to the mall and played "Wonder wall" for 2 hours..then I went to guitar center and used terms like "Pickups" "Arpeggios" "Bends" and "Sweeps" correctly. Oh, and I picked up a copy of Kerry Kings "How to play Solos that don't mean s**t" book. I'm all set.
But Kirk is laid back and full of 1960's awesomeness plus, he has an evil face....Picard is a bald french dude who's idea of fun is fencing and riding a horse (who would need to do any of those things in the future?)

My summer has been ok so far. I haven't done much besides some mandatory volunteer work and ton's of guitar practice...You?
Man, your just waiting for that Star Trek Scenario to happen aren't you? I mean, hey, who wouldn't want to fly around space in a very 1960's styled space boat? With a very 1960's styled crew as well.
Green Pine trees on a red planet? Add snow and you have Christmasland.
I think it's cool that we'll be like locusts....Locusts are very successful here on earth.
Then there is the question of what will happen to earth...I mean, Mars is smaller than earth so we can't move the entire population....Is Nasa planning to nuke earth?
You'd also need a plant that can survive harsh climate, little/too much water, and that one that a fast growth rate.....The answer? The common house weed....Those weeds can grow ******** anywhere.
I like the idea that when we get to mars, we're gonna ******** it up in like....100 years or so.
