About
My real name is Mie Yoshida. I'm 21 years old, and happily cohabitating with my adorable fiancé, Matt, whom I've been with for going on five years, now. Together, we run the
Sonic Classic Continuity Role Playing group, which is a role-playing haven for Sega of Japan classic Sonic (SA2 and previous) portrayal, and has been going for longer than we have.
Aside from older Sonic games (I
hate the comic books, the animated series save for Sonic X seasons 1-2, and most, if not all of the games beyond Sonic Adventure 2 for their dismal degeneration of once well-developing characters), I love the Harry Potter series, have read all the available books, and always go to the movie premiers in costume. I love cosplay, but living in the Southeast, there's really no good place to wear costumes to, so I only get to for Halloween, and Harry Potter movies (which I only have three left of anyway, onoes!1).
I do like to watch older anime like Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura (probably my single favorite series), but don't much care for all this Naruto/Inuwhatever stuff flying around. I guess I just don't much care for anything new -- Oh! Oh! Except
Bomberman Jetters! My friend David got me into it, and it's
so awesome! If you're looking for a well-told drama, and a gripping story, you won't find it, but it's great for random, pointless laughs, and Saturday morning cartoon brand humor.
Moving right along, I'm an avid computer enthusiast, and work as an A+ Certified PC technician on the Geek Squad, while studying for my Net+ and Sec+ on the side.
I'd like to say I'm a very devoted Christian (or I try to be), and every other week, I teach a Pre-K and Kindergarten-aged Sunday School class of between 12 and 18 kids.
Beyond that, I like to draw in what little free time I have, and mainly work in Sonic style. The picture in my banner was done by me, and you can see more examples of my work at
my SheezyART page, at least until I get off my lazy butt, and come up with a layout and decent gallery scripts for
Visions of Sugar.
Maybe I'll be back for good this time, but I don't usually fuss with Gaia very long. I started about two years ago, played enthusiastically for about 3 months, and lost interest. I came back a year later, played for a month, and lost interest. I think I've been back for a little over two weeks this time, so who knows? Maybe I'll actually stick around for Christmas, or
gasp, even Easter this time around.
