Dear Hoodie Girl,
Your boyfriend was yelling at you on the street that day when I walked by, his hand gripping your arm so hard that I knew you'd have bruises later. You were looking down but I saw tears through your bangs. More than tears though, I saw fear. I walked slowly and kept my eyes on your face, trying to catch your eye.
