Hoarding isn't for everybody, most people only keep what they are going to use. I have been working towards getting rid of duplicates of certain items, but maybe its a sickness or something. Part of me wants to try to have as many as possible so nobody else can have them, while another part of me says "See how many you can get", and a third is telling me I am just wasting time. I never really get to the selling point on my hoards because their isn't enough interest in the items for it or they are too plentiful. Overall it's really quite pointless because money invested into a hoard is money you cannot buy new things with therefor shrinking your overall spread on your assortment of items. The thing with being a hoarder/collector is that if their is no desire to cash in later on it can go on forever. Right now the state of the marketplace is so bad and things take so long to sell from lack of users wanting to buy every extra copy of an item you buy basically becomes 1 more item which will take a long time to sell later on. So I would basically like to say that hoarding without an end is a habit likely brought on by mental illness. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Well this can be applied to the gaia marketplace because no matter how many copies of an item you buy, if their is no demand for it you won't profit from it.
