Here's a little bit about me.
-- YEH-YUH.I... suppose you wanna know a bit about me, huh? Well... I guess since you took the time to glance at my profile (because we all know clicking links takes a lot of energy) I should probably brag a bit.
My name is Dominiq. Well, not my real name, but I would love to have it as my real name. I am a Filipino, born in Queens, New York and pretty much raised here in the Philippines. I'm a nice person when I'm in a good mood, but I tend to be very bitchy, sarcastic and moody when ticked off. Like most people, I guess.
I'm happy-go-lucky and laid back and I procrastinate a lot. I love sleeping, or just resting comfortably with some music. I'm not much to look at, in my opinion, but I know I'm a very good, trustworthy person. I'm very loving and passionate and empathetic. And I'm not sugar-coating anything. I truly am. I love loving. =’D
School isn't really on up top on my list of things to do. Right now, I'm focusing more on things that make me happy. Not that I'm killing off school, though. I'm on the top ten list, mind you. It isn’t my goal to be top in class, but to be at least on that top list. I hate having too much responsibility and then not being able to do it right, and then being blamed. It’s one of the disadvantages of being an honor student, ya know?
I'm very much opinionated. I believe what want and don't let anyone try to change what I do. I'm open-minded about many things, though. I'm down-to-earth, but me being the very frustrated kiddo that I am, I often daydream. It never gets in the way of the reality I have to face every day, though.
I love dancing, even though I don't take classes, nor am I that good. Like, at all. But I know one day, I'll be able to dance like I've always wanted to. I adore hiphop, ballroom [salsa, tango, flamenco, etc.] and jazz. Anything that's upbeat and really needs soul amazes me to no end. I'm not saying slow, graceful dances don't have soul, like ballet, waltz, etc. I'm just saying I can feel it more if it was upbeat. Ya know?
I love music. I appreciate every kind, and I love every kind, too. I listen mostly to mainstream, though, mainly because I listen to the radio a lot. YEAH. THE RADIO. No one listens to THAT anymore, eh? ;D Well, I do, every morning. I love listening to the DJs chat. whee I have a crush on DJ Mo Twister. xD Anyway, just because a song hits the charts, it doesn't mean I'll go crazy over it. It depends on whether or not I like it.
I was baptised as A Roman Catholic, but I don't like the idea of monotheistic religions. I must be dragged to church, and hell, I don't even listen. I love mythology, though.
I have a fair social life. I'm not exactly outgoing, but I'm not that shy either, and I have many friends and connections. Plus, I'm loud. I've been told I'm very silly. (There's a difference between funny and silly.) But hey, my friends tell me that, so they could just be saying it just 'cause I'm a friend. xD I like making people smile. It's never coo' when my peeps are down.
As far as I know, guys like me for my personality. I'm no eye-catcher, but my personality shines... In an odd way. xD I'm just really friendly, I guess. I'm not the prettiest/hottest/sexiest/etc. girl in the world. I could possibly be the least attractive in a small room of girls. I mean, I'm the least attractive girl in my group of friends, anyway. D= But I still like looking good, no matter what. Fashion and make up are some of my favorite things to look into and learn. Physically, I don't have much on top, but I've got a fine boot-ay. Lulz. xD
I like guys for both personality and looks. I am slightly shallow, but definitely not, like, snotty shallow. If I like a guy’s personality, the way they look may or may not affect my feelings, but don't get me wrong. No one is ugly to me. I always focus on people’s good qualities, not the bad. In guys, I will go VERY crazy for him if he has somewhat long hair, a nice smile and eyes, abs and strong arms. Not bulgy ones, just strong. A toned body is all it takes to make me swoon. When it comes to his personality, being funny and loose and laid back, yet responsible and knows what he’s doing it. I prefer someone that is at the same intellectual level as I. If he were romantic, sweet, considerate and such, he'd win my heart. Having a talent is a major turn on, too. If he can dance, he’ll get me hot and bothered. =D WINNN.
Truth: What people think of me does matter to me. I give a good damn about what others view me as, but it doesn't mean I believe it. I know what and who I am, and I don't need haters to mold my personality, thank you very much. Yeah, I will admit that I can get arrogant, but of course when I act like a snotty b***h, I'm just playin'. I don't seriously go around flipping my hair in people faces. I do walk with a maddd hip-sway, though. ;DD
