Me too, haha. Especially there. I learnt Quebecois in French in school, so the French is a little different and they speak slower than European French.
Ahahaha, yeah. The UK was quite frightening as well, but that was mostly because of the sheer amount of people there were. But honestly, throughout Europe the public transit system is absolutely fantastic. Paris was the worst to use, simply because it was dirty and slightly confusing, but it was still fairly straightforward. So honestly, I'm sure you'll be fine. Hopefully you speak some french though, seeing as they REFUSE to speak English, even though nearly everyone over there knows English.
Don't drive there! Use public transport. I swear to god, I have never been more scared than when I was a PASSENGER in a car in Paris. They drive like they're 3 hours late to everything and have insurance that covers any damage. Absolutely terrifying.
You better tell me all the details if it happens! Or write a book!
Go to the Notre Dame too, oh my goodness that is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever had the privilege of being inside.
Oh yeah, I know what you mean! I went through a school trip, and we went from Germany all the way to London, and man, I wish I had bought more stuff. I wish I had had more time for shopping too! There was NO time on my trip.
But, my dad went on it with me, and so in a few years when my brother graduates, we'll be going back. We're going to start in Italy, work our way over to Paris and maybe London, then go to Germany and Brussels and Amsterdam again, because I think that was my favourite area of the entire trip. It was beautiful, and the people were so nice!
Oh! I was there in March, it's smelly. But I'm biased, it was near the end of my trip and I was exhausted, haha.
The view from the Eiffel tower is amazing, like literally breathtaking. Especially at night. And the Louvre is just.. no words.
