LOL! She kinda does need that. My mom hates that show. "It's making fun of Catholic priests! mehhh!"

She's such a holy roller, especially now that she's Catholic, she thinks she's so much better and more enlightened than everyone else. No one wants to be around her when she starts spouting about how much better her religion is than other religions.

I do too. And my mom will not shut up about how 'insulted' she feels about being given second hand stuff from that family, and how much she hates them. At first, I tried to tell her she was being ungrateful, but then she made it a point to bother me while I was eating--choking hazard--telling me over and over the story of the table and trying to make me agree with her. Eventually I just gave in like "Yeah, I heard you the first time. You're god. They're Satan. Now I'm leaving because my meal has been ruined." - n -

And after I left, my brothers were still talking to her about it, and she got frustrated with them because they refused to tell her how right she was, so she went and turned off the videogames they were playing, unplugged them, and turned off the TV. And she left all satisfied like a spoiled kid who needs a whipping.

Yeah. I guess I can see cuz the table is so big, there's no way she can lie about it and they expect to see it in the kitchen, but it's not even that bad, it just has some water damage on it, which is more than I can say for our table, which looks as ******** up as a rape victim.

Wow, that's really horrible of her. Especially when your brother's worked on it and thought it would be nice. Most people at least pretend to like presents.

So, my brother thought it would be a good idea to get my mom a nicer table than the gashed up one we have. He tried to go to goodwill, but couldn't find one.
Then, my sister told him that her husband's family was trying to get rid of their old one--which is still in better condition than ours. My brothers all worked on it to fix it up, and they brought it into the garage on Christmas night.

Of course, my mom hates it. Her reasons for not wanting it were because 1) It's 'just as crappy'--not really-- as our old table. 2) She didn't want to go through the trouble of moving it inside. 3) It's second hand stuff from a family she hates unconditionally.

Trying to not seem like a b***h, she just told Scott, my brother, that she didn't want the hassle of moving it. So, he thought it would be a good idea to move the table inside for her. Now all she has to b***h about is how much she hates the family that gave it to her.
