Kudzu, it's a type of ivy. Rather invasive. Grows and destroys in the warm wet climates.
Apparently it's also getting out of hand here. And yet people want to keep it as a decorative plant. Eesh.

Planning to stick around or just visiting for a few days?

It's got it's ups and downs. The weather has been much nicer than I was used to. The lack of sun has been lovely, aside from the vitamin d deficiency.
Seeing kudzu as an ornamental and not destroyer of worlds has been weird.

Worked, got into a bad relationship, moved, left bad relationship, moved to Portland. In a nutshell. So, basically I moved across the country. not the long way but more of a diagonal.
