Mikaila smiled and rocked on her heels some
"I'm giddy and nervous, and scared I won't make a good wife"
She said with flat out honesty
"Me and Cain are getting married...I'm afraid I won't be a good wife..."

"Yes...well we've liked each other for a long time...and he says that he hopes someday we can..be married...I'm not sure what's going on though...he's so silly. Always tripping and what not. It's funny." she giggled some at the memory of Uryuu tripping over his feet and falling into her arms. "I love him so much..."
Dai smiled. "Well...I think I finally found love..." she looked at him. "His name is Uryuu Ishida. He's the last of the Quincy race..." she watched the Devil Imp snoozing on the floor. "I made two new friends...Dusk is my Devil Imp and I found a new orphan on the streets...He's eight years old and his name is Scuppers."
She smiled even wider. "I want to adopt him...but I want to ask Ishi-sama first. Until then, he just follows me around. Right now he's out with Kenai."
Dai sat in a chair adjacent to the one he'd sat in. "It's actually just been awhile since we talked...so I just wanted to see how you were." She played with the hem of her dress while her veil hidden eyes studied the fire.
Dai walked into the mansion. She was feeling rather down lately...rather...alone...
"Thank you for letting me in on such short notice..." she said quietly.
"Mmmhmm. the doctor. the lighting is to your liking isn't it? I do not have candles at this moment..shall I get you something to drink or something else?"She folded her hands in her lap and listened to him."I intend to. do you understand what denying a male anything he wants along the lines of sleeping with him does to him? if you do Eclipse-san, then you get the hint at what I intend to do to him am I right? And it will happen again. I have a feeling that it will..which is unfortunate.."
"come sit my dear,won't you, tis better than standing around.."She ushered him into a living room,dimmed the lighting a little and sat down in velvet chair."I shall remain that way then.. as for myself? my betrothed is missing again... twelve days now..."

"I have not seen him recently, but,I do believe he is doing well."She did not flinch at all,remained calm."What a showy entrance Eclipse-san.He's fifteen now. whatever you did he's changed,for the better I hope."
Dai walked up the stone steps to Eclipse's home. She knocked on the door. Last time she'd walked in rudely with out asking. This time, she'd be more polite. She waited in the rain and thunder storm for him to come to the door.
"Thanks, Eclipse. For everything." the boy sighed, shaking his head. "But I do not believe your services are required anymore...Life needs to be understood alone, correct?"
"So you understand why I am protective of him as I have been.A few days.. not asking consent I see. even if you don't think you need it from me,you have it.I am going to assume that he'll be safe in your hands correct Eclipse-san?"
" there are unfortunately. one being his best friends father..I am certain he would harm the child..that man is pure evil. the devil himself probably worships that man.."There was a seriousness in her voice,for she knew too well what Alexis was capable of doing, she had seen the proof not only through cain,but through the doctor as well."Yes.. the doctor.Those two were inseperable until his father made him eat his little forest friend..."

"Eclipse...am I even worth anything to anyone? Do you enjoy my company because we share a few similar likings so far?"
"Whom are you talking about? People don't really care about me...not in the way I need them to..." she thought of Snark and what he'd said to her...the only one who thinks she's special...is ten years old...she, 16...
"You're too solid to understand such a hollow thing like love." she looked back out the window. "You don't know what it's like. Have you ever been in love? Then had your heart taken and thrown back in your face? Like it was just a rag doll? Like it was nothing?" she chewed on her lip. "It's just hard...I'm a very emotional girl...and I...need to be shown that some one wants me around. That I belong...that some one loves me...You know?" she turned to him.
"Eclipse...don't you...ever get...lonely?" her voice was hollow...empty.
"I feel like that every day and every night. That sinking feeling in your heart...in your mind...that pain..."
