I'm going to point out that I have every right to make assumptions when I believe I have the full story. You neglecting part of it just for dramatic effect doesn't raise you any higher.

Now that I do have the full story, that makes it a little more Nes's fault for not telling us what was going on. However, you still are not blameless. You trolled us. You withheld the information that would have kept it from getting worse. And guess what! It got worse because of it.

Wait, no, that's wrong. You did make that apparent... after you had trolled us for a bit. Then at that point, all that you had implied was that you were a member stirring up trouble for no reason. What do you do with a member who stirs up trouble? You let him/her go.

Yes. Nespin made a misinterpretation. But you didn't correct it. So we went wrong, and you didn't bother to try and fix it. You sat there and you complained, and you trolled, and you made threats. As I said before, we reacted to you as we would any troll.

Which means what happened is largely your doing. You refused to defend yourself, and then you worsened the situation by trolling. We simply reacted to what we had: someone who appeared to be an anonymous troll trying to stir up trouble. Hell, all you did was cement that impression.

Hmm, Nespin doesn't really do anything. His last post was months ago, and he hasn't done much if anything in the guild.

We don't have an ignore list yet though, so that could be a problem... I'm still working out how the ignore list should go.

Funny, who provided us with evidence? When a jury decides in a court case, they use the evidence at hand. We didn't have any, what we had was an anonymous mule refusing to cooperate and one of our members upset over what appeared to be a trolling valentine.

Had you explained back then what you just explained to me, then this may not have happened. But no, you kept it secret, and then exploded on us when we acted on what we had.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, at no point did anyone state that it was not hostile. Furthermore, you started trolling on the mule you sent it from. Didn't exactly help your image, so you can't blame us for reacting strongly when you essentially said, "Hi, this is the account that sent that valentine, and now I'm going to troll you all! lol!"

What sort of reaction did you expect?

No, what you saw is what we're like to unknown people who appear to be hostile. If a stranger comes across as hostile to you, what are you going to do? Turn the other cheek? I guarantee that if I pulled out a mule and wrote something that could be interpreted as hostile, and I didn't bother revealing who I was, the reaction would be the same. Had we been told who you were, we would have known that it wasn't hostile, because you had not previously done anything for us to think that you would be.

And, from experience, it's worked for me.

Oh yes, I've used the document trick before. I once was in a gaming clan that wasn't just rude to outsiders/newcomers, but downright xenophobic.

Tough times, lost someone I cared about to 'em too.

This is what we like to call "talking it out."

And yes, you were nice. And then something ugly happened, and suddenly, you didn't want to be nice anymore. A misunderstanding occurred, and we were willing to talk. You were willing to give us the finger and troll. Nowhere did I see you willing to talk about it. You wanted to play the victim, to hell with what anyone else said.
