You say the world has failed you. Did it happen that way, or did you fail the world. Barriers have been built that keep you away from the world. But no one but you could have built them. Isolation from people doesn't mean isolation from yourself or from God. God can help you break the walls and triumph where you have failed. With the barriers gone you don't have your security as much, but you have people and God to love you. Live life. Don't hide from it.
