[[Yo, Robin-San!
I haven't heard from ya in a spell, so I thought I'd drop ya another line.
We can both toast to old tumblr accounts at this point. I've left mine behind, too.
It was great fun, but man, I just didn't have the time to run it properly.
Lots've good memories, though.
We'll have to get those good times pilin' up here, too, na?
Missin' ya, as usual. Wishin' ya the best.
Take it easy, hope to hear from ya soon!.]]
[[Absolutely, I want that link!
Might end up bein' fun, ya never know~.
Your cosplays are beautiful, as I expected.
The first one's cute as hell, but; jeeze, I've never seen such a charismatic Robin.
Man, your features are perfect for that cosplay, haha, it's pretty uncanny.
Psh, I spend most of my time chewin' on my own foot. Dunno how kind that can be, ahaha.
But I'd be real obliged if ya started up an Rp with me!
If tumblr doesn't work out, I'd be happy to play here with ya.
Lemme bother ya thrice over and trouble you for your Skype?
Do ya use it at all? I'd hate to keep ya waitin' for a couple of days like this again.
Sometimes I just don't get around to checkin' Gaia. OTL
Well, guess that's it for now. Take it easy!]]
[[Oh, yeah? Do ya have any roleplay accounts on tumblr?
Pfft, lookit me tryin' to bother ya in as many venues as possible.
I definitely wanna see the new cosplays!
Eheh, well, yanno... It's easy to miss ya.
You're a real talented writer and ya play an amazing Robin.
Can't help but notice when you're gone.
[[AHH, I MISSED YA!
SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK.
I've been runnin' amok on Tumblr; since Gaia went so quiet.
But jeeze, welcome back! Glad to hear from ya.

The simple, but sweet gesture hadn't seemed to draw even a sliver of displeasure, if his elegant companion's visage was anything to go by. Her eyes doted on him in their gaze, and the fire logia's subtle apprehension was folded up and put away with the sight of her gentle smile. With the approach of her soft, warm frame closer to him, the Whitebeard pirate straightened up and looked away for a moment in an effort to suppress a subtle scarlet across his face. The archeologist's slender bones and striking beauty, the cradle of a mysterious charm and a clever nature, wasn't it natural for him to feel like he was being trusted with an irreplaceable treasure? The young commander would lead the charming historian to the dancefloor, preserving her hand in a careful grip that wasn't about to let hers slip from his own. He would only hazard one glance at his unusually well-dressed feet, to verify that they weren't already within contentious proximity to Robin's little pair. His expression was off by a faint frown of concentration, as he mentally thumbed through bits of advice his senior commanders might have dispensed beforehand. Elegant chords were gradually struck by the orchestra, and the Whitebeard pirate thought he could recall enough to be at least tolerated on the dancefloor. The rest he'd probably make up; but that might be enjoyable too, given his playful dance partner.
Robin's hand was released once they were soundly upon the dancefloor, where the ornately printed, flawlessly smooth surface amiably reflected shadows of its occupants. The commander took a step back, and in compliance with the nature of the dance, he offered a cordial bow that almost effectively belied his untameable disposition. The rakish grin the younger pirate wore, however, did plenty to sustain such common knowledge. As the music progressed, he would step forward again, resting his hand behind her alluring waist. The small of her back was a dizzying curve underneath his fingertips. The archeologist's hand was sought after by his opposite hand, a connection that the fire logia was becoming entirely fond of. Inwardly hoping that he'd done well to recall the nuances of the arrangement, he nonetheless directed a searching glance towards Robin's captivating eyes. The Whitebeard pirate spoke a little softly, disinclined to be too audible with his uncertainty. He did however, have a somewhat childlike faith in his assumption that Robin knew at least something about everything. The commander would shift his glance at their hands, and reference his hand against Robin's slender back with a brief motion of his head. ❝...na, is this right? Ya don't hate this song, do ya?❞
Luffy blinked playfully at her. "You know...impressions! I wanna impersonate the crew members~ But I need your help!!"
The rubber captain hoped that Robin would fondly remember the impressions she had helped him do shortly after she first joined the crew. "I wanna do Chopper first! C'mon it'll be fun!" The captain's smile widened and his mouth hung open in glee. "Do it, do it!"

He'd heard her words, certainly, but he had already been captured by the soft, darkness of her clever gaze. The Whitebeard priate's young heart beat fast and hard, and he tried to mediate his grip in between friendly and guiding, when he really wanted to lock a possessive grasp into her long, graceful fingers. Nico Robin, for all of her peerless talents, and all of her forbidden wisdom, she couldn't possibly imagine the effect that she had on him. And if it turned out that she was, in fact, well aware of it, well, he was doubly hopeless. The fire logia's grin was impish as he agreed to whatever it was she'd just said. The words had traipsed through his sense of hearing without contest; while relishing in the sound, he'd forgotten to perceive their meaning.
Robin's sparkling eyes, crowned in a beautiful, dark shade made him feel like he was gazing upside down, seeing the stars below the heavy, indigo sky.
That statement, he'd heard. "Be spontaneous?" Well, hell, that was his forte. Making rash decisions without thinking the consequences through. It was the only way he could imagine living. The archeologist was statuesque and regal, and with her height being nearly the same as his own, it was a smooth motion when he slipped an arm around her slender, delicate waist. Though he'd miss their subtle presence, the fire logia's hand left Robin's, to gently curl fingertips beneath her doll-like chin. He didn't even have to angle his head too much when he closed his mouth against her lips, so given towards mischievous smiles. The kiss was chaste, because he was respectful of the scholarly pirate. But the current song hadn't concluded yet, and he was going to steal those few moments away; turning them into a memory.
The song closed with a final reprise, and silence would be momentarily replaced by another sweet melody. The young commander had to relinquish their closeness in favor of relocating to the dancefloor; he'd honor her wish. Grinning with all the zeal of the father whom he was disinclined to claim, the fire logia's shyness beamed in a proud blush across his face. He mumbled something like an apology, without meaning it at all, unless his beautiful companion took offense. A broad, warm hand found the smaller one it had been missing, and he glanced towards the orchestra.
❝A-ah, there's the next song. Whatever it is, we'll dance, na? ❞ If she'd allow it, the Whitebeard pirate would snap to, and like something presentable, would escort the lovely archeologist to the dancefloor; where knowing the dance was hardly necessary for enjoying it.

As abruptly as he'd fallen asleep, he awoke with a start. Even through his languid gaze, adjusting again, as quickly as it could to the glittering lights and delicate motions of the dancing guests of the Ball. The Whitebeard pirate's thoughts collected themselves into their usual orderly mess, and he turned his dark eyes turned to the Mugiwara pirate. Excitement teemed beneath his words, and forgetting cordial obligations of distance for a moment, he took one of the archeologist's hands in his own, holding Robin's slender fingers in a playful, inquisitive grip. It was in his nature to wander between the colors of maturity and downright childish tendencies. The archeologist seemed to encourage the transitions with her quiet grace and unpredictable humor. If he didn't outright irritate her, their diverse dispositions could actually compliment each other nicely. It would hinge on her patience, no doubt. ❝Oi, the dance! Na, have they played anythin' ya like, yet?❞

For the longest time, the fire logia didn't know what to think. The archeologist's hands were sweet, the food looked delicious, and Robin's smile was stunning. She had seemed to traverse through a series of thought processes that he had barely any idea about, but her look of consideration was replaced with a smile brighter than any sunrise. The young commander gave an unbridled laughter at the struggle that their combined lack of social graces presented. She was kind, and he was respectful, so surely they'd be all right, even if they had inelegant moments. The Whitebeard pirate reciprocated Robin's smile with an understanding grin; he appreciated the concern that his undisciplined emotions had stirred up. ❝Ya brought all that for me? Arigatou gozaimasu! ❞ He noticed the sable haired pirate had brought a little plate for herself, and worried that he'd picked a bad spot to relax in. Forgetting for a moment, that he was trying to maintain a certain standard of decorum, he reached a leg out and hooked an ankle around the leg of a nearby chair, and hauled it closer to the graceful archeologist. The curled feet of the chair made a soft scraping sound in its approach with the logia's lacking, but sincere gesture of chivalry. If she wasn't opposed to the childishly presented seat, they'd be diagonally situated from each other, but both in view of the pleasantly glinting orchestra. He neglected to mention the endearing concern she'd showered him with upon her return, since Robin had dismissed it, herself. But the nerves beneath his skin were still ringing with wonder at the all-too-fleeting softness of her ungloved hands. ❝You're really somethin' else, Robin-San. ❞ The slightly awed musing was directed towards the Mugiwara pirate, but it was murmured quiet, like an afterthought. He rolled the cuff of his heavy overcoat up a bit, as he reached for something on the place that the archeologist had brought him. Without moving the plate closer, the commander tossed a bite of some perfectly cubed slice of fruit past his teeth, and idly wondered what sort of song Robin would enjoy dancing to. He managed to get at least partway through the thought, and barely swallowed the fruit before the logia passed smooth out in his chair. His head tilted to the side, opposite the shoulder that his hat hung listlessly behind. The inopportune nap would of course, be brief, but the tendency was as inescapable as his heritage.

He returned Robin's unforgettable smile with a teasing grin and a feigned sigh. ❝Oh? Well, since ya insist on lookin' forward to it, despite all the warnings otherwise,
there's nothin' left to do but enjoy it when the time comes. ❞ The fleeting, soft collision of warm lips to his cheek summoned a field of bashful red to surface beneath the freckled skin.
He thought he managed at least a nod to her words, even though his mind was like a clear, blank glass wherein a cocktail of affection, excitement, and pleasant anxiety was blending and sloshing around. After a moment, her statement was finally heard, long after the archeologist had already walked off. The fire logia was immediately appreciative of her destination; trying to look respectable and managing one's conduct really did work up an appetite. And it had been at least a few hours since he'd eaten; during Marco's unyielding insistence that he at least try to fully clothe himself. Compromises made one hungry, too.
But then again, as he recalled the playful kiss and how naturally he'd leaned into it, welcoming the contact without even realizing it, his stomach flipped itself and he doubted that he'd even be able to damage the buffet table like usual. How ought he to play when the sable haired archeologist returned? Indifferent? Sentimental? He nudged his dark hat off his head, to rest at his shoulder-blades, drawing a sleeve across his hot forehead. It wouldn't do any good to feign anything, really, since his companion was Nico Robin, and her keen gaze would pierce through any facade with a single look.
The Whitebeard pirate spotted a window just to the left of the elegant little orchestra, and he immediately headed towards it. The breeze that washed in might cool his head, and he'd be able to keep an eye on the doorway as he awaited the regal scholar's return. He might bluff a little, he decided, smirking a bit; just because he liked the way she spoke to him when she was seeing right through him.

The young commander had to laugh as he was reassured that their efforts to imitate proper dancing might be more of a disruption than legitimate participation.
With an impish tone, he shrugged off any misgivings the possibility would otherwise introduce. ❝Well, if they get tetchy about it, at least we're all skilled at runnin' away when we gotta.
It'd be ironic if we ended up gettin' run off even when we're all on best behavior, na?❞ The fire logia was addressing a concern regarding how long the dastardly outlaws could preserve their ball-attending privileges, despite the fact that neither of them was worried about it at all. The Whitebeard pirate could feel the woman's intense eyes grazing across his presence, but he wasn't as opposed to it as he would usually be. With the ghost of a smirk implicated at the corners of his eyes and lips, he glanced sideways after he felt her attention lift from him, weighing on some other lucky subject. The archeologist was older than him, smarter, and possessed prodigious abilities... somehow, though, he could still conjure a hint of color to the subtle curves of her face like an unspoken secret. It seemed a softness existed between them, one that he'd neglect to mention aloud, for the sake of both their great prides. ❝...na, Robin-San.❞ He gave a nod towards the distant orchestra and its charming Minuetto, before grinning back at his lovely companion with an enthusiastic grin that directly contradicted the uncertainty in his words. ❝When ya hear 'em play a song that ya like, tell me, an' I'll embarrass us both with a dance.❞
