About
I'm a
Red Anarchist,
Democratic Socialist,
Marxist Anti-Revisionist (Maoist) (seriously, the last one
razz ). Some reasons for this are I'm pro-gun control, pro-Kyoto (want to stop global warming, and god damn it people trash cans are there for a reason, use 'em, finding trash everywhere is just disgusting. I also see the ending of wasteful industrial practices as beneficial to both the environment and economic productivity).
I believe that all are entitled to the necessities such as health care & housing. I see modern Capitalism as irreparable and suggest the need for revolution..meaning complete removal of the Capitalist "free"-market system (hardly equal-opportunity..if it were we would have have the potential to be equally rich..and equal distribution of wealth is hardly Capitalistic). 2% of the population owns 50% of the wealth and this gap is always growing under the bourgeois fend-for-yourself system of proletariat alienation. Without labour, products of labour, of course, wouldn't exist. So labour is the only real necessity in determining a products value..not something artificial like currency.
I'm also an Atheist. See "Riddle of Epicurus".
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"
Contesting the second principle with a "greater good" claim and a claim that we cannot know said "greater good" is akin to stating that the answer is "unknowable"
I can sometimes pessimistic and cynical, and no there's nothing wrong with that.
I'm a fan of KMFDM; Rammstein, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails and a mix of other bands.
My favourites video games are KOTOR 1 & 2
I'm ticked off by media-perpetuated tired stereotypes, (everything from high school clique s**t to racism, though I admit I can be easily annoyed).
I'm very interested in philosophy and politics.
I'm a HUGE fan of Star Wars.
Lastly, I am Canadian.

The quote in your signature is so true. Too bad it's these people who have most of the power in the USA.
