Exactly! That too! I was watching some video clips of sax players and they all sound so passionate. And it just sounds so different, in a good way, from a string instrument!
Win! I can't wait. c:
It was a show that was so crazy. Tron was a light show with Daft Punk playing constantly. It was pretty cool though, since I could compare with the old movie (and how amazing animation and special effects have gotten)! I just really love the conept of something like that and anything with fighting on the Grid is always really reeeeeally epic-looking. xD
It's New Years Eve but it hardly feels like the last day of the year. :/ Meh. Nevertheless, I hope you have a good one! :D
That's what I thought too, but meh. If I did get a job, it'd be working at the local preforming arts theater in town so. I guess it's more fun than a legit job. =w="
Somewhat. Still playing violin for school and so on. I started taking acoustic guitar from a friend at school. My hands are so small. "OTL If get some free time during the summer, I'd like to try saxophone. xD
When you get that EP done, you'll have to send it to me! I want to hear it!
Yup, very true. ;3
GONNA GO SEE TRON. P: Maybe talk to you later then, 'kay? Don't work too hard and hope you get over that cold!
Also, in case I don't talk to you later, have a good new year!!
Well, at least now you have a buddy in misery. D; I hate not being able to breath correctly. :/
Fun, fun! xD Eh, I'll be applying for a job next year (probably) somewhere. Unless my parents decide to go all azn and tell me I need to study than get a job. =w="
Playing any new songs?
It's pretty fantastic. I dunno, I think the art's cute so that's why I play it. ">3> But the puzzles are pretty good too. I cheat though, and look the answers up on the interwebs when I can't figure them out. Lol.
It's break for me now. Win. But then I get to face first semester finals! LAAAAME.
Right now, though, I'm playing Prof. Layton since I have a pretty bad cold. "orz
EP? That's so cool! Is there a theme you're going to use?
I have finals and projects that are coming up and being due. Most of which I should start on... God. The downsides of being a procrastinator. But I went with a friend to go see the theatre show CATS. She's made me into a theatre gal now. P:
It's the end of trimester for me, so I have presentations, porjects, tests, and the whole lot. D: And of course, I procrastinate, so it's ultimate FAIL or something like that. Ugh. I have this huge art project due Wednesday. I haven't even started. I have no idea what I'm doing either. >.> Yup. My life in a nutshell: Never ready for anything. :'D But despite that, my school play is next week, so I'm excited about that. And basketball season ended and I signed up for soccer, so that's another thing to look forward to.
I joined a D&D group and we're meeting in a week or two, so that's also very exciting. All my friends were all "Friends don't let friends play geeky/nerd games." And it's all "Look who's talking" sort of things. -myfriendsarereallynerdy- Anywho. Oh! Highlight of the weekend: I saw Coraline! I read the book when I was a little kid, so to see the movie was verrry exciting. My orchestra teacher gave us sheet music for Seven Nation Army. The 1st violins have vocals so it's really boring. She's planning on getting something for Viva la Vida, which everyone was excited about. But... that's not in the forseeable future. :'3
"Whole bunch of stuff." Well that's specifc. :'D Usually, it's my little sister that gets showered with gifts. So I was pretty content with my bed warmer. :3
Interview!? That's cool! I have horrible skills with holding formal interviews or talking with people that are significant. I stumble and I mutter things really fast. ._.
I want to hear some of your recordings soon! One day, I'll send you some of my own violin stuff. But that day is not in the near future. P:
Congrats! I suppose I'll have to start thinking about jobs and such soon too. Maybe I can in a year or so. When I was very, very little, I wanted to be God when I grew up. People gave me funny looks. However, I want to focus my career, somewhere in the Biology-genetics field now.
21! Happy early birthday, I suppose! Old? Well, I guess if you compare yourself with really young children. But 21... wow. Makes me feel really (well, not too much) young. I took one of those age quizzes once, that tell you your 'inner' age. I was 35. ">.> However, I'm am turning 14. I'm probably the youngest person in my grade.
That's good that you have a positive outlook on growing older. My favorite quote on age is "Growing old is mandatory. However, growing up is optional."
Yes. I do write fanfics. It's my anti-drug. Currently, I have only fanfiction from Naruto written, but I have hundreds ideas from various books, mangas, animes, etc. I'll be the death of me, but I don't mind at all.
Probably 2-3 years younger. I'm not exactly sure. But some of the teams are really good. There was one team that focused on speed, not shots. But by the end of the first half, we were so tired. >.< It's really nice to see the coaches not yell furiously at the kids, though. (^_^)b
P: Ugh. I can't believe how much I've procrasitnated. I feel horrible about the amount of work I have to do. I might as well slink into a corner, curl up into a ball, and mold or something. >.> Everything's good and dandy besides that bit. I've recently fallen into a large pit of fanfiction and I'm wasting my life away, typing at my fangirlish needs. However, I have started saving up for a tablet. I want a Wacom Intuos (whatever number, I dunno yet). It's actually part of the long list of things I want to do for my New Years Resolutions.
I find myself wanting more and more sleep, but I stay up more than I should. I crave sleep. In fact, for Christmas I got this bed heater thing that keeps my bed warm and wonderful. I got sick, right after Christmas, so I stayed in bed (all warm and fluffy) for at least 15 hours. It was the best thing ever.
Basketball also started for me. And my body aches from being so out of shape. Since my private school isn't within any of the public school district games, we have the YMCA organize it for us. Surprisingly, no other girls our age signed up this season. At this point, our team would have to break up, but the Y was nice enough to let us be in the 6th grade boys league. And despite the fact that I'm a measly 5' 1'', I feel so tall. And it's so horrible, because I feel so bad stealing and bumping others that are younger than me. I feel like a really mean bully. >.<
