Ohhman. I'm a long-winded one. Wasn't exactly intended, I swear. ;-;
I'm hoping this won't cause me to come off as uberly self-absorbed, but I do believe that this is one way to get to know someone without having to make all kinds of judgments beforehand. In reality, I should probably just say 'figure it out for yourself' and leave this section empty for your own interpretation.
But for a stupid fear of being judged too soon, I would rather write something that will at least give you a bit of an idea of who I am first.

So hi there, visitor! I'm Steph.
I'm eighteen years old with a birthday in July. I'll be starting my third year of college soon, studying Graphic Design. Currently standing at only 4'10", but luckily not minding it so much anymore. C;
I'm a pretty shy person in general. I ask a lot of questions and enjoy talking to people, yet I often find that what I want to say usually gets all jumbled up. I know I want people to see me as a someone who's kind; someone they're curious about and would like to talk to. I admire people who are open-minded and caring, with a great sense of humor and aren't afraid to be an idiot once in a while.
Although I probably come off as someone who's pretty withdrawn, I adapt to people very easily, and in a matter of hours I can become comfortable enough to laugh and be my lame, hyper, weirdo self. And to those who have had the tolerance to put up with my idiocy, you know I already love you forever and give many kudos to your patience. :3
I would also just like to throw out there that I consider myself thoroughly bi-curious, and I'm currently in a relationship.
And as for my Gaia history, well.. yeah.. I've been here for a quite a while, but it's definitely safe to say my account fails. Hard. It's been what, five years? Nothing impressive to show for it here. x] w00t.

Singing, writing, and design are incredible escapes for me.
Each is something I really want to persue in my life. I would love to one day sing in a band, or write a great novel, or become a skilled and recognized designer/artist. I still have a long way to go though.
There are also a number of things I want to learn very soon. Learning Korean and Japanese, for example. Also, learning to dance and learning the piano better would be amazing.

I'm open to almost all genres of music, but my favorites come to two pretty opposite sides of the spectrum.
See, I love rock alternative, and variations of melodic/power/speed/black metal, but then I also love Korean/Japanese-Pop/Rock music. Music is music, no matter what the language, and this stuff appealed to me since I was young. The lighter, happier, peppier songs keep my younger sister close in mind; my closest friend who I admire so much.
I like dark ambiance and neoclassical-sounding songs as well. Piano and violin pieces are beautiful; I wish I could play those instruments. All in all, I really do enjoy a bit of everything, so If you have a recommendation I'd like to give 'em a listen. :]
