It's staying up late just thinking about tomorrow
It's going to school and being late just because you didn't want to say good-bye
It's going to the mall and walking hand in hand
And communicating with your eyes and a smile
It's going to the movies on a Friday night
Taking an extra jacket cause you know she'll be cold; but won't admit it
It's waiting for everyone to walk out of the theater before you give her a kiss
It's taking her home and walking her to the door and waiting for her to get inside so you know she's okay
But still calling her on your way back to the car just to let her know you had a good time
And tell her that you miss her
It's just being together
Now it may not be perfect
But it's not supposed to be
That's what makes it magical
That's what makes it real
