I'm very sorry for not responding sooner. Just after my father's heart surgery and stuff it got kinda busy for me and then I ended up forgetting about checking Gaia. Do you have Skype? Because if you do you can join in and check out our Pathfinder games that I run with my friends and you can get a hold of me a lot easier on there. ^.^
Hope you're doing great! Peace.
I only got gold because of items increasing when I was away a long time, plus some lucky giveaways.
I thought of the username when I was trying to think of a fun PSN name for trolling people. Then it just ended up here. whee
Thanks. whee
It used to have paramour's break for the face, but when I was looking for resell items I stumbled on this one.
It was cheap for a face item too, like 7.5mil. Plus it adds just a hint of color.
Oh really? I never really look any interests up on here. Too many Gaians are rude as hell nowadays. My favorite band is My Chemical Romance. Next to EA of course. 3nodding
I discovered her when an old friend played her for me one day. We were just hanging out and she started talking about her. When she played Opheliac I just fell in love. What about you?
Can't say I'm excited about much these days. sweatdrop I hadn't even heard that there's a new album coming out. I'll have to check it out later on, thanks for the heads up. I still listen to them occasionally when I'm feeling nostalgic, I think the last time I honestly gave any band a lot of attention I was 18 or something. And since then its mostly been Rebellion that I'm listening to and some oldies like Blue Oyster Cult etc.
Hey kid. Its hard to say which Crystal Eyes song I like most of all, I've some very fond memories of a few of their albums. But one song I always come back to is "Witch Hunter" from the album "In Silence They March". What about you? biggrin
So sorry! I been pretty busy these last few days. Having to drive 2.5+ hours up and then another 2.5+ back every few days to visit my father in the hospital has been leaving my brother and I both pretty drained when we get home. I hope you got into that program you wanted, though! Good luck!
To answer your question, though, I studied your typical MMA; boxing, muay thai, jiu-jitsu, and Greco-Roman wrestling. I'm much better with my hands, so I'm more of a boxer and wrestler. Fencing is pretty cool, too! I practice with rattan weapons for a medieval reenactment group called the SCA. I like spears most of all, but I also practice with sword and axe sometimes. They get in armor and fight with the rattan weapons, doing wars and tournament combat, it's pretty fun.
I didn't get into the Zelda Pathfinder game. Kinda bummed me out, but that's how it goes. As for the PvP aspect, we almost got into it in the game we run over Skype. My alchemist made the party angry by breaking off and pulling some vigilante stuff without telling them. Sure, assassination is illegal, but he doesn't care, heheh. I had my whole party hunting me down, trying to stop me, but they were always a few steps behind. Our fighter was pretty dead-set on stopping me, not sure if things would've got heated between us if he had caught me. We left our game off right after I killed my target right in front of our fighter and I slipped away into the shadows. Invisibility potions are a dandy tool, even moreso in the hands of a deadly, predatory, sneak-attacking alchemist. cat_mrgreen
I sadly have to keep this short because I'm getting up early, but I shall respond as soon as I can. ^.^
We've met a handful of girls who do modeling and photography, too. I would assume it's helpful to know both sides. I am familiar with Hetalia (slightly) and I know how crazy cosplayers can be, hahah. Got some pretty dedicated friends. I'm not really an anime fan, I like only a couple, but I have a good amount of friends who LOVE it and attend stuff like Fanime Con and such regularly. I'm more of a Comic Con kind of guy. razz That model does sound pretty touchy, but I would be wondering the same thing as you. Why not cosplay the character you like more? I know I was considering doing a cosplay of Chen Stormstout because I could pull it off easily being fat, having a beard, and just recently grew my hair out. I've never done a cosplay before, though, so I'd need some help from my friends.
My brother usually does events like weddings, quinceaneras, sports, and such, but he also does fashion shoots that seem cool. Like, we've done a lot of shoots with models out in the abandoned army base nearby that's all in ruins, it looks so cool, like post-apocalyptic. Makes for some really cool shoots. When I help with events I'll do video, help carry gear and set-up/break-down, makes things go quicker. But when we do the fashion shoots in more unsafe areas my brother likes having me along to carry gear, set-up/break-down and to run security, hahah. Models tend to feel safe around my brother, he's a big, strong dude, but he knows I'm stronger and I actually have martial arts training, so it makes everyone feel more safe should something happen. I also worked as a nightclub bouncer for a few years so I try to use words (..And sometimes a sprinkle of intimidation) to diffuse a potential situation and avoid things getting physical if at all possible. Which goes against the traditional D&D idea that high charisma means smooth talker AND attractive, hahah. I ain't attractive, but I can use my words well when I want to.
Funny you mention D&D and Pathfinder, that's what RP I'm trying to get in on. It's a game using Pathfinder rules but set in the Legend of Zelda universe. Myth-Weavers is a website that hosts PbP RPs and other forums, much like Gaia does. However, the games use various rule sets, depending on what they're running. Like, I pretty much just keep an eye on the Pathfinder games that are starting up because I like Pathfinder, but they have a bunch of games like Star Wars, Vampire, D&D, all that. Even a place for homebrew games and such. It's really cool, I like it there more than Gaia, for the most part. Especially since there are rules set for characters unlike Gaia where a lot of people just do stuff that makes no sense at all. >.< I been haunting Myth-Weavers more lately since the Pathfinder game my friends and I run over Skype has kinda come to a halt due to lack of player and GM availability. But I got a bookload of stories from those games, hahah. Especially regarding my brawler fighter from one game and then my beastmorph/vivisectionist alchemist in our current one. cat_pirate
Ahh, I get it, yeah. My brother's a photographer and I've helped him out on a few shoots and such, sometimes little things pile on and get to be annoying and they can mess with the mood of the model. I also forgot to say yes, my RP is going pretty well, thank you. ^.^ We're still in the application process but there's a pre-game thread where we can interact with our characters. It gives the GM time to see how people play, type, and interact with others. I'm playing a cleric who's more about combat, peacefully resolving conflicts, and support of the team than just a healer. In every game I always gravitate toward tanks and healers, heh.
You actually bring up a thing my brother and I talked about before. How you say you're used to your glasses being a part of your face, we talked about how different the world is through the eyes of others. Since we see, experience, and approach things our own way, but to someone else it's not the way you perceive it.
Indeed it is! Sorry, I got caught-up and was going to respond to your message. I also gotta get in a post in a RP I'm participating in on a site called Myth-Weavers. Hope the day is treating you well. cat_mrgreen
I got out of having to do another long trip up near San Francisco and get to sit at home and relax with my dog, hahah.
